Our mission at the Algonquin Lake in the Hills Interfaith
Food Pantry has always been to provide food for families
in need that reside within the boundaries of Algonquin &
Lake in the Hills. With the help of our valuable volunteers
we have accomplished this mission for over eleven years!
As our client base continues to increase, we have been
faced with many building issues. This has led the Board
of Directors to explore the possibility of moving to another
facility. After extensive research, and through partnership
with the Village of Lake in the Hills, it has been decided
that we will relocate our facility to the Larson Farm
property on Pyott Road. Click here to volunteer with the
renovation.
With the success of our official move-in to the new facility
on April 14, 2012, we are now serving clients from our new
home. However, we still have several major projects that
need to be completed:
Parking Lot - $20,000
Replace the Roof - $20,000
Compressor - $3,500
